Period 3 Honors Math

Objective:  Students will solve a variety of linear equations, and
       simplify algebraic expressions.  Students will solve equations that
      involve absolute values.

Correct:   Logic Problems, Math Puzzles, Trick Pics.

Finish:  Lesson 1.4 Exercises # 1 - 21, 27 - 30, 35 - 46 (pages 32-33).

Assignment:   Lesson 1.5 What You Will Learn #1 - 11 (pages 36-39).
                    Lesson 1.5 Exercises #1 - 35 (just the odd numbers) pages 40-41.
                                                 
Homework:  Finish through Exercise #29.


Periods 4, 6, and 7   Math 8

Objective:  Students will review how to simplify expressions and
                 solve linear equations.

Correct: Study Guide for Unit 1.  

Assignment:    Unit 1 Test - Linear expressions and equations.
                          Journals pages 19, 20, 21.
Homework:  No Homework for today.
