Period 3 Honors Math

Objective:  Students will solve a variety of linear equations, and
       simplify algebraic expressions.  Students will solve equations that
      involve absolute values.
Correct:  Review activity for 1.1, 1.2, 1.3

Assignment:    Quiz on sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3


Finish:  1.4 Explorations #1 - 4 (page 27)
              1.4 Progress # 1 - 13 (pages 28 - 31).  

Begin working on:  Lesson 1.4 Exercises # 1 - 21, 27 - 30, 35 - 46.

Periods 4, 6, and 7   Math 8

Objective:  Students will review how to simplify expressions and
                 solve linear equations.

Correct:  Nothing to correct today.

Finish:     Quiz 1 Unit 1.  If you still need time to finish.
               Practice Quiz #1, 3 - 6, 11, 12, 14, 15 (page 32)


Assignment:    Chapter Review #1, 2, 4 - 8, 10.  (pages 33 - 35)
                          Practice Test #1 - 7, 10, 11, 16, 18 - 19. (page 36).

Homework:  Finish through the Chapter Review assignment.
