Period 3 Honors Math

Big Ideas Unit 7 - Analyzing Data

Objective:  Students will use a variety of data displays to analyze and

communicate data. Students will calculate measures of center and 

variation.

Assignment:    Read pages 329 - 331.

            Lesson 7.1 Monitoring Progress #1 - 6, pages 332 - 335.

                Exercises #1 - 8, 10 - 17, page 336.

                     

Homework:  Finish through the Exercise problems.

Periods 4, 6, and 7   Math 8

Big Ideas Unit 7 - Real Numbers, Pythagorean Theorem.

Objective:  Students will classify Real numbers, find square and cube

roots, and use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve problems.

Assignment:     Review the properties of exponents and square roots, cube roots.                           

               Journals pages 143-144 (just activities 1 and 2), page 146.

                                       

Homework:  Finish through the Journal pages.
