Period 3 Honors Math

Big Ideas IM Unit 11 - Geometry:  Transformations

Objective: Students will use coordinate reflections, rotations, 
and translations to prove congruency of geometric figures.

                      

Correct:  11.3 Rotation Notes and Exercise Packet.

Assignment:  

         11.4 Monitoring Progress #1-3, pages 570-571.

         11.4 Exercises #1, 3 - 10, page 574.

          Chapter 11 Review #1 - 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, pages 578 - 580.

Homework:   Finish the Chapter Review.  Test on Thursday.

Periods 4, 6, and 7   Math 8

Growing, Growing Growing Unit 11 - Exponential Relationships

Objective:  Students will identify and use the properties of exponential

relationships to solve problems using equations, tables, and graphs.

Correct: Unit 11 Review, Investigations 1 and 2 - Exponential Relationships.

Finish:     Inv. 2 ACE Questions #1, 2, 4 - 13, pages 24 - 27.

          

Assignment:  

        Problem 3.1 A - B, page 34.

        Problem 3.2.  Read page 35.

        Problem 3.2 A - D, page 36.

Homework: No Homework. Assignments must be completed in class due

    to the CMP textbooks may not be taken home.  If you have been absent and

    need to make up work, you may check one out at the end of the day.
