Objective:  Students will use the properties of exponents to
      simplify and evaluate problems.                                    

Review:     Lesson 10.4 OYO #1-9 (pages 430-431)

                      Exercises #1-17, 20-27, 37-39 (pages 432-433)            

Assign:     Practice Quiz #1-18 (page 435)

                  Journals pages 214, 216, 218.

Objective:  Students will identify and use Quadratic relationships
                   to solve problems.

Unit 8    Volume of Circular Solids

      

Objective:  Students will calculate the volume of circular solids,
                    such as cones, cylinders, and spheres.

                              

Assign:  Lesson 8.3 OYO #1, 3, 4 (pages 350-351)

                Exercises #1, 3-9, 12, 14-16 (pages 352-353)

                Practice Quiz #1, 2, 5, 9 (page 362).
