Period 1 & 2 Science

Objective:  Students will write a scientific essay, using the correct vocabulary and good technical writing skills.

   

Finish:      Finish MAPS Testing?

                  Webquest: Unit 1 Vocabulary

Warm Up:  Read the Article Chicken and Dinosaur Legs again.
                   Look over your answers to the 4 questions.

Activity:    Writing an Essay.

                  You will need your Google Doc with the 4 Questions
            

Homework:   The Vocab assignment should be completed sometime this week.  The essay should be completed by the end of the day Monday.  I gave extra time for this because some were taking longer to complete the MAPS than I expected.  You will have time on Monday to work on your essays.



Period 6 & 7 Math

Objective:  Students will solve math problems using operations with integers.

Finish:  MAPS Testing

      Lesson 1.3  Examples 1, 2, 3. On Your Own #1 - 13, pages 16 - 17.

            Exercises #1 - 32, page 18.
