Period 3 Honors Math

Objective:  Students will write and solve linear inequalities.

Finish:   Lesson 2.6 Monitoring Progress #1 - 6 pages 88-89.
               Lesson 2.6 Exercises #1 - 17 page 91.

Assignment: Journals pages 48 - 49, 51 - 52, 56 - 57.
               Logic problem, Math puzzles, Trick Picks.  
                
Homework:   No homework on the weekends.


Periods 4, 6, and 7   Math 8

Objective:  Students will move and change figures on a coordinate plane, using
                  the four types of transformations:  translation, rotation, reflection,
                  and dilation.

Correct:    Lesson 2.5, Exercises #1 - 14, 17. pages 74, 75
                 Journals pages 38, 40.
                 Practice for proportions, similarity, missing values.

Assignment:  Lesson 2.7 On Your Own #1 - 6,  pages 84, 85.
                    Lesson 2.7 Exercises # 1 - 18, page 87.
